Abstract

Because of the organizational culture formed by both the management and the employees in the organizations, the "organizational silence" The situation, which is defined as employees' deliberate and willing to keep their opinions and thoughts on organizational issues to themselves, can appear as an obstacle in realizing their targets. In this study, it was investigated whether the levels of organizational silence and organizational commitment of shipyard employees differ in terms of demographic variables. In the analysis of the survey, the results of the survey applied to the shipyard employees were interpreted and the results of the survey were expressed in the last section. As a result of the research, statistically significant differences were found in terms of some variables of organizational silence and organizational commitment.
