Abstract

Individuals, whether it is their family, their work or the country they live in, seek justice in every atmosphere they live in. Similarly, the concept of trust is of importance both among the employees and individuals and groups that we interact with. Individuals show trust when they believe that the person or the institution is just; in a converse situation the feeling of trust decreases. We were not able to find any sources in the literature that has determined the influence of personality traits as a factor which increases the effect between justice and trust. The aim of the study carried out within this context is to determine whether personality traits have a moderating effect on organizational justice and organizational trust. According to the results obtained from structural equation modeling, it has been seen that agreeableness, conscientiousness and openness have a moderating effect on the organizational justice and organizational trust. These results show that agreeableness, conscientiousness and openness, of the personality traits, are effective on moderating the justice perceptions of employees on organizational trust. Last of all, it can be concluded that individuals whose agreeableness, conscientiousness and open-mindedness, of the personality traits, is higher are the ideal candidates for organizations.
