Abstract

In the world of global business called economic power, innovation is increasingly important. It is seen that there is not a rival power of the countries which are unchanging and innovative in this era. The concept of "National and International Innovation in Education" has become an important subject that should be followed closely by the higher education institutions that prepare the sectoral element, which is newly emerging in the development agenda of our country but closely related to the development of our economy and our level of social welfare. The role of vocational colleges, which undertake an important mission in the development policies that produce skilled intermediate staff for the sector, in the training of students is not debatable. The teaching policies that provide the needed human resources; based on science and technology, must be the manufacturer, and transform it into industrial benefit. In this research, the contribution of R & D and Project Management course students and teaching policies to innovativeness and creator individual in 2016-2017 Spring Semester in Hereke Ö.İ.U Vocational School was examined and the results of "education-innovation-ar- ge needs "concept for different applications in vocational schools and a model proposal based on it. Data were obtained from the researcher observation form and in-class evaluations. As a result of the research, author Asiye Yüksel created an "innovative literacy questionnaire" and a model proposal for it. It is desired to draw attention to the importance of this concept with suggestions for increasing the innovative literacy rate with this study.
