It is believed that this work, which emphasizes what kind of structuring is necessary to raise students' awareness in this regard, will be an important source in the literature. In the study, the general situation and problems of Vocational Schools of Higher Education in Turkey were discussed, the reasons for choosing the programs of the students studying in the Accounting Programs of the VSOHE affiliated to Kocaeli University were revealed, and the compatibility of the accounting education they received with their future goals was determined.
