Abstract

Individuals within a culture are far different from others, according to the degree of validation of their dominant values of their cultures. In this respect, cultural values have become an important issue because of their role within organizations and their determination of communication norms. The purpose of this study is to determine whether healthcare employees s have a meaningful effect on the silent behavior of power distance perceptions. The study was carried out on 180 people working in public health sector in Balıkesir's districts of Bandırma and Erdek. The data of the study were obtained by the questionnaire method and analyzed by correlation and regression methods. As a result of the study, power distance affects organizational silence in the positive direction.
