Changes affect life in social, cultural, legal, educational and technological spheres. Changes that are happening in every area today emphasize the importance of human resources management. Human resource management, which includes employees in the organization and the potential employees outside the organization as well, is shaped by the personal characteristics, needs and expectations of the employees. It is necessary to have sufficient knowledge about the general characteristics of the generations in order to recognize these expectations. In this context, firstly the concept of generation and the classification of generations are given, then X, Y and Z generations are evaluated in terms of human resources management in working life.
