Intihal.net software is used to check the manuscript for plagiarism and/or similarity to previous publications. Manuscript containing text copied from other sources are rejected by the editor during pre-evaluation.
JAVStudies strictly does not accept plagiarism.
Plagiarism means quoting a work that has been published on a similar subject before without citing it. Even if it is small, it is unacceptable. A high similarity rate is a high rate even if it refers to another study. Such articles are also not accepted for publication. The author can use one or two similar sentences from his previous works, but he should cite if he uses more. Exactly the same sentences can be quoted by using quotation marks with reference. Articles derived from the dissertation or congress papers should also have a reasonable similarity ratio, not excessive, and the source from which they were derived should be stated in the article.
If there is an article that is found to be plagiarized later, the situation is reported to the editorial board. The editorial board notifies the editor of its decision. If it is decided that the article should be withdrawn, the editor notifies the author of this situation with the reasons. The article is withdrawn from all databases in which the journal is indexed. Withdrawal status is prominently displayed on the page where the article was published.
