Journal of Academic Value Studies (JAVStudies) is an open-access journal that provides free online access to all published articles. The journal does not charge subscription fees, and published articles are not sold. To support the operational costs of the journal, a non-refundable submission fee is required upon article submission, regardless of the manuscript’s acceptance or rejection.
Submission fees are as follows:
• Standard submission fee: $70 USD
• Discounted fee ($50 USD) applies to:
o If the corresponding author is currently a student.
o Authors from low-income or lower-middle-income economies according to the World Bank classification.
No additional fees are charged for article acceptance, peer review, publication, or DOI assignment.
After submission, the corresponding author will receive payment instructions including the bank account information (if the email is not received, authors are advised to check their spam or junk mail folder). The payment must be made with the description: "Author Name Surname - JAVStudies Article Submission Fee."
Although the submission fee is non-refundable, authors whose manuscripts are rejected are granted one free resubmission within a year.
Important: The journal does not charge any article processing charge (APC) or publication fee. Payment of the submission fee does not influence the editorial decision. All manuscripts are evaluated solely on their academic merit through a double-blind peer review process.
