Reviewer Invitation and Access to the Manuscript

Reviewer invitation

Reviewers are invited through the system by the Field Editor.

Accepting the invitation

The invited reviewer may accept or decline the review invitation through the system.

Logging into the system

Reviewers who accept the invitation should log in using the “Sign in” button.

Accessing the assigned manuscript

The reviewer can access the assigned manuscript through the “Reviewer Evaluation” section in the system.

Conducting the Review

Reviewing the manuscript

The reviewer evaluates the manuscript in terms of scientific content, methodology, use of literature, and contribution to the field.

Completing the evaluation form

The reviewer completes the review evaluation form available in the system and records their comments regarding the manuscript.

Suggestions on the manuscript file

If necessary, the reviewer may also indicate corrections or suggestions directly on the manuscript file.

Reviewer Decision

At the end of the evaluation, the reviewer selects one of the following decisions:
•    Accept
•    Minor Revision (no need to see the revised version)
•    Minor/Major Revision (I would like to see the revised version)
•    Reject
Once the review report is submitted in the system, the reviewer’s evaluation process is completed.

Note: Reviews in which the reviewer marks all evaluation criteria as “sufficient” and recommends direct acceptance without providing any comments, critique, corrections, or suggestions will not be taken into consideration in the editorial decision process. In such cases, the editor may request a revised evaluation from the reviewer or assign the manuscript to another reviewer.

Revision Process

Revision request

If revision is requested, the manuscript is returned to the author for necessary corrections.

Revision period

The author must complete the revisions and upload the revised manuscript to the system within one month at the latest.

Evaluation of the revised manuscript

If the reviewer selects the decision “I would like to see the revised version,” the revised manuscript uploaded to the system by the author must be evaluated again by the reviewer.

Final Decision

After the completion of the peer review process, the final decision regarding publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief.
