Registration and Upload Process


New Registration

  1. Purpose:
    You must register in the system to upload your studies and track their progress.
  2. Clicking the Sign in button:
    For new member registration, use the “Sign in” button located at the top of the journal’s website.
  3. Entering the e-mail address correctly:
    Since your e-mail information will serve as your username in the system, make sure that you enter your e-mail address completely and correctly.
  4. Selecting the membership type:
    When registering to upload an article, select the “Author” option under the “Membership Type” section. To contribute to our journal as a reviewer, you must select the “Author and Reviewer” option.
  5. Completing the registration:
    After filling in all the required information, click the “Save” button; a message will appear on the screen indicating that your registration has been completed.
  6. E-mail confirmation:
    To finalize your registration, click the link in the confirmation message sent to your e-mail address; this will activate your membership.
  7. Recommendation for institutional e-mail:
    It is recommended by the editorial board that the e-mail address used for your username and personal information be an institutional e-mail.
  8. Importance of filling in all fields:
    It is important that all fields in the new member registration section be completed in full.
  9. Where to enter personal information:
    Author and institution information must be entered clearly and accurately only in the relevant fields on the website and must not be written in the article file.
  10. Privacy:
    The membership information you enter on the website will be visible only to the editors.

Article Submission and Tracking

  1. Logging in:
    To upload your article, click the “Sign in” button and log in using the author (or author and reviewer) option.
  2. Username:
    Your username is the e-mail address registered in the system.
  3. Accessing the Article Upload section:
    Enter the “Submit Manuscript” section to proceed with uploading your article to the system.
  4. Anonymous upload in accordance with Publication Policy and Writing Rules:
    Upload your article without author names and in accordance with the journal’s publication policies and writing rules (all policies, principles, and rules are available under the “Policies and Principles” and “Article Submission” buttons above).
  5. Entering the required information:
    Enter all required information requested by the system (title, abstract, keywords, etc.) completely.
  6. Uploading the similarity report:
    Along with the article, upload the similarity check document (Turnitin, iThenticate, etc.) for the current version of your article.
  7. Pre-evaluation:
    Your article is evaluated by the editor-in-chief, taking into account the pre-check report from the managing editor regarding the journal’s aim and scope, publication policy, publication ethics, and writing rules.
  8. Forwarding to the publication editor:
    If deemed appropriate, the editor-in-chief forwards your article to the managing editor.
  9. Forwarding to the field editor:
    The managing editor sends the article to the field editor, who assigns two or more reviewers for the article.
  10. Reviewer decision options:
    The reviewer gives one of the following decisions for the article:
    • Accept
    • Revision (no need to see the revised version)
    • Revision (revised version must be reviewed)
    • Reject
  11. Revision period:
    If revision is requested, the author must make the necessary corrections within one month at the latest and upload the revised manuscript to the website.
  12. Decision: “The revised version must be reviewed”:
    If the reviewer decides “the revised version must be reviewed,” the revised article is sent back to the reviewer, if the reviewer accepts it, the final decision regarding publication is made by the editor-in-chief.
  13. Decision: “No need to see the revised version”:
    If the reviewer decides “no need to see the revised version,” the article is not sent back to the reviewer after revision, it is transferred directly to the “to be published” section by the editor-in-chief.
  14. Final check before publication:
    Before publication, the article is sent to the author’s e-mail address for a final check.
  15. Ethics Statement and Contribution Rates:
    The “Ethical Statement” and “Author Contribution Form (if there is more than one author)” must be completed and signed by the authors and attached to the e-mail. If the article requires “Ethics Committee Approval,” the name of the approving institution, the date, and the protocol number must be added to the article, and the approval document must also be attached to the e-mail.
  16. Editor-in-Chief approval and publication:
    After the author completes the final check in accordance with the instructions in the e-mail, the article is published in the earliest suitable issue with the decision of the editor-in-chief.
