Covid-19 Hastalarının Yaşlarına Göre Hastanedeki Tedavi Sürelerinin İstatistiksel Analizi: Elazığ Fethi Sekin Şehir Hastanesi Örneği

Abstract
Covid-19 Dünya Sağlık Örgütü tarafından pandemik bir hastalık olarak ilan edilmiştir. Vakaların ülkemizde görülmesiyle beraber risk altındaki kişilerin korunmasına yönelik birçok kaynaktan çeşitli bilgiler paylaşılmaya başlanmıştır. Hastalığın herhangi bir resmi tedavisi olmadığı için, daha önce vakaların görüldüğü ülkelerin bilgi ve tecrübelerinden yararlanılmaktadır.
Türkiye’de ilk vaka 10 Mart 2020 tarihinde kayıt altına alınmasının ardından diğer ülkelerdeki vaka durumunun seyrinden hareketle ülkemizde de çeşitli tedbirlerin alınması kararı verilmiştir. Bu çalışmada Covid-19 tanısı konulan ve hastanede tedavi gören hastalar incelenip, bu hastaların yaşlarına ve cinsiyetlerine göre hastanedeki tedavi süreleri araştırılmıştır. Bu çalışma Elazığ Fethi Sekin Şehir Hastanesi’nde tedavi gören 3506 tane Covid-19 hastası üzerinde yapılmıştır. Bu hastanede tedavi gören Covid-19 hastalarının yaşlarına ve cinsiyetlerine göre hastanedeki tedavi sürelerinin istatistiksel analizi yapılmıştır. İstatistiksel analiz için “SPSS for Windows 22.0” paket programı kullanılmıştır. Covid-19 hastalarının yaş grupları değişkenine göre tedavi sürelerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark olduğu; ancak cinsiyet değişkenine göre tedavi sürelerinde anlamlı bir fark olmadığı tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract
Covid-19 has been declared as a pandemic disease by the World Health Organization. With the occurrence of the cases in our country, various information has started to be shared from many sources for the protection of people at risk. Since there is no official treatment for the disease, the knowledge and experience of the countries where the cases were seen before are used.
After the first case in Turkey was registered on March 10, 2020, it was decided to take various measures in our country based on the course of the case situation in other countries. In this study, patients diagnosed with Covid-19 and treated in the hospital were examined, and the treatment duration of these patients was investigated according to the age and gender This study was conducted on 3506 Covid-19 patients treated at Elazig Fethi Sekin City Hospital. Statistical analysis of the treatment duration of the Covid-19 patients treated in this hospital was made according to the age and gender variants. “SPSS for Windows 22.0” package program was used for statistical analysis. There is a statistically significant difference in the duration of treatment according to the age group variable of Covid-19 patients; however, it was determined that there was no significant difference in the treatment durations according to the gender variable.
