In this study, the main objective is to find out the emerging topics and concepts that gain importance in Information Systems studies. 29 IS journals were chosen with respect to their impact factors regarding their availability in academic databases. A database was created to collect the meta-data of articles published in selected journals between 1996 and 2015. Data was collected using a desktop application that utilizes Selenium automation tool to access online academic databases. Through the analysis of keywords within the articles published, the keywords that expose the most dramatic change in total frequency within the last decade were identified. Subsequently, the most frequent keywords were presented in the results along with a comparison with the last two decades. Finally, the popular topics and concepts in Information Systems publications were discussed along with the results.},author={İnanç KABASAKAL},year={2017},journal={Journal of Academic Value Studies (JAVStudies)}}
