@article{2017,title={Sustainability of Turkey’s exports to Iraq and its Impact on TRC3 Region},abstractNode={The aim of this study is to investigate sustainable of exports from turkey to Iraq and identify the industries that should be encouraged in TRC3 region to make more efficient this export for this region. The Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System (HS) developed by the United Nations has been used in the study. Study concludes that Turkey has large market in Iraq especially at “Iron and Steel”, “Electrical, electronic equipment” and “Articles of iron or steel” industries. However, in the "iron and steel" product group Ukraine and in the "electrical and electronic goods" product group, China has increased its market in Iraq and so those countries are affecting Turkey’s exports. In the other hand it is determined that Turkey exports very little in some industries such as “vehicle”, "optical products" and "pharmacy". The result of studies implies that “agro-industrial” which is exported from Turkey to Iraq about $ 2.4 billion in 2013 is a suitable sector for encourage in TRC3 region. Besides that it will create efficiency that producing of “plastic and rubber products manufacturing industry” and “furniture industry” in the TRC3 region. Some product groups of those two industries were exported to Iraq about $ 1.1 billion in 2013. Finally industry determined for encourage in the region is “textile and ready-wear industries” which is exported to Iraq about $ 750 million in 2013.},author={İbrahim HÜSEYNİ},year={2017},journal={Journal of Academic Value Studies (JAVStudies)}}
