Abstract

This study aims to examine the reflection of the language of environment to urban ecology. Language is a communication tool used to convey feelings and thoughts. The language of environment is the expression of nature itself. In fact, it is a silent and tacit language. Sometimes this silent language becomes audible. At that time, it becomes too late. Although man is a part of nature, he regards nature as a tool that he uses and benefits, not a place where he exists, not as a purpose. He thought that everything in the surrounding nature was his own, and he can overcome everything. Rapid technological developments, population growth, urbanization and the pressures of industrialization on nature increase the environmental problems. The important thing is to read this non-verbal language. For this reason, it is emphasized the importance of living in an environment that is ecologically healthy and balanced. In the context of leaving a livable environment for future generations, the importance of reading the language of environment is increasing.
