Abstract

Countries in the growth the importance of the tourism sector plays a role of the economic globalization, incrased competition and market the system conditions change rapidly due to gradually increasing of the sector. Tourism sector, recognized as one of the service sectors that enable countries to may have some impacts upon general structure of economy. Tourism incomes contributes to the development of the country by encouring both the employment and the growth. Therefore countries aim to accelerate the economic development and to extend per capita income. Tourism incomes continues to be one of Turkey’s basis sources of growth by especially caring on tourism. This study examines the relationship between tourism incomes and economic growth in Tukey during 1963-2016 period. Relationships between tourism incomes and economic growth, have been analyzed by using unit root test (ADF), granger causality test and regression analysis.
