Abstract

Why does world capitalism lose its global dominion, which it has held for centuries because of its neo-liberal political conception, which it advocates to overcome the great recession that it had entered in the 1970s? In this study, the global economic power of advanced economies, which has been held for many years, is searching for answers from the 21st century to the underdeveloped or developing economies. Especially after the liberal economic policies applied after the Washington reconciliations have been imposed on the whole world, it is seen that the emerging markets, first of which have created economic crises that create crises, are beginning to emerge as a new power centers or centers in the face of capitalist developed economies in the world, under the influence of global capital and technological currents. The years of depression, which have been in capitalist developed economies since 2000 and are still inexplicable, have been a sign that these economies are beginning to lose competitive advantage in world trade. Even now, with absolute advantages, comparative advantages or new economic trends derived from classical economics, developed economies can not recover from the crisis they are in. Is the world seeking new economic order?
