Abstract

In today's world where competition is increasing, the most important goal of organizations is to use their resources effectively and efficiently and to maximize their output. However, in terms of organizations, this is not enough, the adoption in the environment in which the organization is living should be accepted by the people or customers whom it serves. This is only possible with an effective organization. Today, it is seen that effective organizations have realized this by paying attention to human capital, that is, human factor. In this study, organizational effectiveness is addressed from the perspective of participatory management and emphasizes the importance of effectiveness in maintaining modern life in today's modern organizations, emphasizing the necessity of adopting participatory management approach as a means of ensuring organizational effectiveness. In the study, it is emphasized that organizational effectiveness, organizational efficiency and productivity are also included but different from these concepts. It is stated that the role of the manager who shares the information with his subordinates and directs his employees and who has a participatory management approach is important in providing organizational effectiveness. It is stated that the role of the manager is to contribute to the formation of an individual who embraces the goals of the organization and participates in the decisions. The individual and organizational elements that constitute organizational effectiveness are evaluated through participatory management understanding.
