The main purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between "motivation", "sub-dimensions of motivation" and "academic performance". The universities of the research are the senior students of the Akdeniz University Manavgat Vocational School 2017-2018 academic year. The sample consisted of 250 students selected through random cluster sampling. In this study, Vallerand's Academic Motivation Scale (AMO) was used as a data collection tool. SPSS 22.00 package program was used in the analysis of the questionnaires and factor analysis, correlation and regression analysis were done from the descriptive statistical methods in the analysis of the data. In the analysis results, the relationship between academic performance and "motivation" and "sub-dimensions of motivation" was found.
