Within this scope, revealing the tourism potential of the Bitlis province and additionally, determining the tourism types suitable for development in the Province is a requirement. The objective of this study is to specify the tourism diversity of the Bitlis province, and to evaluate the tourism supply resources of the province in terms of nature, history, and social-cultural aspects. Another aim is to reveal the tourism potential of the Bitlis province and to determine the tourism types which could be realized in the long term. Consequently, suggestions are provided to drive the tourism sector in the Bitlis province.},author={E.
