The Effects of Safety Risk Management on Organizational And Strategic Objectives: Airports Case Study Emniyet Risk Yönetiminin Organizasyonel ve Stratejik Amaçlar Açısından Etkileri: Havalimanları Örnek Olayı
The aim of this study is to identify impact of safety risk management system in organizational structure in view of both behavior and corporate aims. It was made semi-structured interviews with senior executives of Heraklion International Airport Authority Manager to achieve research aim. In addition, a risk analysis study has been presented within the scope of Hasan Polatkan International Airport Safety Management operated by Anadolu University. One of the highlights of the results in this study, is that safety risk management system have direct impact on both organizational culture and also achieving corporate strategy. This research has aimed to contribute to filling GAP between ideal and reel practices in airport safety management. Also this research may contribute to raising/ improving awareness about best practice in safety strategy and management beside related literature.
