In the generally accepted approach states when the growth rate of an economy increases, employment and unemployment rates decrease. Especially in spite of the high economic growth rates achieved in recent years at Turkey, this performance leads to controversy about not being reflected in unemployment rates to the same extent. In a new dimension of debate, it is crucial to reveal the link between economic growth and unemployment rates. In this study, Economic growth and unemployment numbers are analysed by using economic technics for last five decades. As a first step of the conduct, the unit root test is tested, Secondly, the correlation test was used and Granger causality test will be the last step of this study.
