To seek a solution, a lot of new laws are made. Located between these laws issued with the help of Law no 6360 has made in metropolitan management system significant changes. In our study the law that is enforced with the Law no 6360 new metropolitan municipality law how it would leave an impression on the citizens as a social and economical and find out citizens thoughts and problems in the future and find solutions to these problems, will be answered. In our research, as a sample Malatya metropolitan municipality which became a metropolitan municipality with the Law no 6360 and started to serve to the citizens’ facilities that are done according to the law in the social and economic field and its level of influence as positive and negative on the citizens will be measured. In our research questionnaire (with 200 people), face to face interview, observation and literature searching will be used. The findings that are thought to be obtained in our study can be measured as this: There is a rise in the taxes like real estate, environment and garbage taxes, construction taxes. Detection of possible problems and solutions to them like rise in the housing rents, land prices and transportation fees and as metropolitan municipality’s area of responsibility expanded; environment and landscape arrangements, service of road, water and sewage fails to satisfy as parallel with the rise of the population decrease in the employment opportunities.},author={Vedat YILMAZ-& Şafak KAYPAK},year={2017},journal={Journal of Academic Value Studies (JAVStudies)}}
