Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to research the transformational leadership, social change ideology, workplace social inclusion, well being at work and affective commitment relations to the association among the healthcare employees. Design:/Methodology/Approach: The research was conducted with 350 healthcare employees from 5 hospitals in the city of Konya.In the study, descriptive statistics and correlation analysis were performed via SPSS 10.0. Confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation model were applied via Lisrel 8.0. The structural validity of the scale in the study was investigated with the confirmatory factor analysis and their structural reliability was investigated with the Cronbach Alpha coefficient. Findings: As a result of the study,it is seen that the transformational leadership influences social inclusion and affective commitment, and social inclusion has a positive influence on well being at work. It is found that the factor which influences social inclusion is social change ideology. Discussion: According to the results of this study, it can be said that transformational leadership style will facilitate social inclusion and increase the commitment to the organization. In addition, the expectation of the employees with the spoon makes it easier for them to be included in the organization.
